How to practice.

You can get yourself a deck of cards and just deal them and count them as they come off the deck. (Many casinos sell used decks, as just another way to fleece the players.) I like to use a computer program that deals and displays the cards for me. The absolute best program I have found for this is a program called Masque BlackJack. (Masque Publishing P.O. Box 5223 Englewood CO. 80155 USA )

Go very slowly at first. Have your tables handy. Compare your count with the number in the square you’re on, to tell you what to do. Soon you will be able to do this quite quickly, and after hours of practice, it will become second nature for you. But no matter how good you become, always practice at least one hour before playing, if you haven’t played for a while.
