You can get yourself a deck of cards and just deal them and
count them as they come off the deck. (Many casinos sell used decks, as just another way
to fleece the players.) I like to use a computer program that deals and displays the cards
for me. The absolute best program I have found for this is a program called Masque
BlackJack. (Masque Publishing P.O. Box 5223 Englewood CO. 80155 USA )
Go very slowly at first. Have your tables handy. Compare your count
with the number in the square youre on, to tell you what to do. Soon you will be
able to do this quite quickly, and after hours of practice, it will become second nature
for you. But no matter how good you become, always practice at least one hour
before playing, if you havent played for a while.
