 Dear Mr. Martins,I just got off the phone with Rev. Schleimhaut **. He's quite youg, fresh out of seminary school, but he's a sweetheart. And he says knows about adoptions because he done some work in that field last year at his previous seminary where he was involved in the convent. He says I should come over and he will help me fill out some state adoption paper application formalities for Kendall which must be done. But I can't find a driver today as my secretary is off to a baptism and a funneral * this afternoon. My housekeeper is all excited as she will be getting Kendall's room cleaned and made ready. Can Kendall write? I know he's deaf, but could you please ask him to send me an e-mail? (please don not forget those pictures I asked you about (!), you know the ones I showed you did not come through). I am so exited, I can't tell you. By the Way the mony is not a problem whatsoever, so when we are all ready I will send wire it to you as soon as possible. Speaking of money, the 6.5 million USD you promised does not need to go to me. We can give must of it to our school, or to some other good Christian organization or develop a scholarship fund. Perhaos we could make a small anal stipend for little Kendall, to be paid monthly to me, so that he won't feel himself to be a drag financially, or a burden. It took several rounds of email
exchange between Yahoo! and me to get to this point. Yahoo
corresponds only with standard cut-and-paste boilerplates. In
this case, the initial smoking-gun email that explains the scammer's
plan came from moreorless@blastwebmail.com (a.k.a. deafkids_2008@outgun.com)
-- so apparently Yahoo did not have enough information to be sure that
these people are real criminals [sic].
Their messages were always curt, probably because they don't know English well. The Yahoo! standard boilerplate reply has been modified just a bit. I don't know if someone there actually typed in "and based upon similar reports" or if Yahoo! has a boilerplate response for this situation, too. Here it is:
