Would dine there?

I had eaten there once before.  But today I just wanted to park my car on the street.  This business had confiscated several public parking spaces as its own.  A verbal fight ensued with the elder of the two attendants.  He volunteered that he works there for free, and though not actually denying my right to park on the pubic parking in the street, he told me several times to park elsewhere.  Parking is very scarce in this neighbourhood. I did not want to return to find my tires flattened. After all this, I left.

My company had a party at this Beppo restaurant last year.  We were lead into a windowless dining room.  Every item on the menu was "family" sized -- no single portions were available.  I shared the spaghetti with my woman.  It was AWFUL -- watery, runny.  Several in our party complained about the food quality in private afterwards.  I observed one group of people seated at a table.  The centerpiece was a (rotating?) bust, which appeared to be the head of the pope.  I could be mistaken as to its identity, but it was a human head with a cap! To call it kitsch would be flattery.

 Letter to Mayor Rocky Anderson...

Dear Rocky –

I noticed that several businesses are claiming public parking spaces in Salt Lake City as their valet parking staging areas.  When I tried to park at Buca di Beppo restaurant at 202 West 300 South street. A belligerent parking attendant denied me access to that public space.  Please do something about this and let me know what you did.  I appreciate your response and thank you in advance.

Signed

Ps:  Please see my web page about this, I’ve put it on the reverse side of this letter.
