From a reader:

While reading your letters I saw that you were interested in being corrected about incorrect information on your web sight. While I have not and do not have time to read the entire sight and send corrections I thought that I would review what I considered to be the most incorect page. I have attached a word document with some questions regarding your page and some comments on incorrect material. I am giving you the benifit of the doubt that you will be different from most anti-mormons and acctually respond to me. at the very least I would appreciate a letter in repy simply telling me that you will not be reviewing my letter. IF you do not have word, then please let me know and I will send you a copy in a different format. If you do use my information and acctually change your sight then I would be willing to review the entire sight for mistakes and missinformations. I appreciate you time and hope that you are legitimently willing to correct your errors. I have included no testemony bearing because i don't want to waste your time. I hope that you will be as kind and use this information so that I can know I didn't waste my time.   Thank you,  A Mormon

                        The Moon
"This is The Place"Mormons believe that human beings inhabit the Moon. Im Mormon and I have never been taught this! However, it is difficult to disprove the theory seeing as how only a small percentage of the moons surface has been explored. [sic] The Mormon Seer and Revelator, Brigham Young, for whom a University is named, revealed in 1880, that the Mormon MOON-MEN were similar to earthlings, except that they are much taller. Moon-men, Young teaches us, dress like Quakers. Brigham Young -- in a vision -- had visited the inhabitants on the far side of the Moon...

(Journal of Discourses., 1880, p. 27 1)
"...whose hearts leapt with joy and exceeding delectation... and dwelt  into the cliffs of the orb of the basin named Hertz-sprung in the sight of  all splendor.."

Revelations Prophet Brigham Young concerning Floeese, the Moon

Our great Mormon apostle, the late Bruce R. McConkie, reminds us that in Mormon theology God created "worlds without number". He also reminds us that Mormons believe that "there live aliens on other planets unknown to us". Is this a quote from you or McConkie. If he really said such a thing then I would appreciate a reference. The fact is I have heard stories of members being excommunicated for teaching similar things. I doubt that either is accurate. McConkie tells us that these planets are "inhabited by male and female humanoids who are redeemed with immortality and offered eternal life through the power of Heavenly Father."

The Planet KOLOB

Mormon Theologians agree that God lives on a distant planet, the planet KOLOB. It is near unto God. Never does it say that he lives there. It's located in the constellation Cancer, sector 2813. As a Mormon I think that if we knew where Kolob was I would have heard about it before you. Kolob means "the first creation" -- which is "nearest to the celestial, or the residence of God", as McConkie assures us.

"Our scriptures say that God told Moses only about this planet," said LDS apostle Neal A. Maxwell in a recent television interview. "But we're not worshiping a one-planet God." (Salt Lake Tribune Aug 1996 Vol. 252 No. 118)

We believe that Mormonism is an outer-space-oriented religion. Who believes that Mormonism is an outer-space-oriented religion? Mormons believe that it is a Jesus Christ oriented religion. One of our Scriptures state -- as far it has been translated correctly

"And thus there shall be the reckoning of the time of one planet
above another, until thou come nigh unto Kolob, which Kolob is after
the reckoning of the Lord's time; which Kolob is set nigh unto the
throne of God, to govern all those planets which belong to the same
order as that upon which thou standest."

Book of Abraham  Translation by Prophet Joseph Smith,  from hieroglyphics on papyrus (Facsimile 1)

And the evidence is coming in!

Until recently, the star which Kolob orbits has not been known. In late 1999, Mormon astronomers at Brigham Young University, using the Hubble telescope, obtained faint images of this star, which they tentatively named Kakistocra-99b2.* If they found the star I think that as a Mormon I would have heard about it. It turns out that Kakistocra falls squarely just next to our sun on the famous Hertzsprung-Russell diagram [Wikipedia]  of stellar evolution. [Kakistocra is a G2.5 type star.]

(Reprinted with permission)

This lends further support to the Mormon claim that Kolob is an Earth-like planet, just one of Elohim's "worlds without number (Other authorities disagree: Isaiah 30:26).
As the Mormon apostle Maxwell puts it, "There are other humanoids on
other planets unknown to us."  When did Maxwell say this? [sic]

Unfortunately, the planet Kolob itself has not yet been imaged. Plans are underway by BYU astronomers, using the new three meter active optics telescope on the summit of Mauna Kea in Hawaii, to image this star in the infrared spectrum.

Beyond Cold Fusion

The Voyager space craft which was launched many years ago, and which is heading out into the interstellar medium, is by coincidence heading in the direction of the star Kakistocra. It will, in the year A.D. 2882900, approach the Kakistocra system in sector 2812, within about 300,000 kilometers.

This is a flea's hop on the cosmological scale! It's so close, it would be a bit like hearing the airline pilot announce "Our flight today will take us by the city of Salt Lake, 3 inches away from it." Cosmic Coincidence?

Perhaps Jesus-Jehovah, or one of the angels or some alien astronaut, as yet unhatched and living on his planet of pre-existence, will intercept Voyager. Perhaps the Golden Phonograph Record, which is on board of Voyager will at some distant future day be played on a celestial phonograph! The church has told us, that because of divine revelation, it has asked NASA to engrave on this Golden Platter, a cut from the Mormon Tabernacle's rendition of "When I Hie to Kolob". I seriously doubt this. And if it be true than why not. After all the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is one of the most talented and famous choirs in the world. And what song would be better suited for a space flight? Such possibilities are enough to make one think!

Space aliens? Any one who looks to The God Makers as an accurate source of information on Mormons might as well ask a fish on the bottom of the ocean.  Even most anti-Mormons consider the God Makers to be an outrageous lie. If you really did do research on Mormon theology you would know that this movie and the book it was based on where a pile of Crap.

"I don't recall"

The church teaches that everything starts on the Star-Base Kolob from whence we came, and everything will end on Kolob to which we shall return if we are worthy. I can’t recall  that teaching. We can return to the presence of our gods Our GOD for we only have one zillion Gods. -- the Heavenly Father, his first wife, Mother Gonhorra, We have no evidence that God has more than one wife and we do not know the name of his wife or wives whatever the case may be. and the Other Wives. We'll return to the presence of Jesus, who is also Jehovah -- the Bible is wrong about this. The Bible is wrong about what? We believe we are actually what is nowadays called "space aliens".

In fact, dear reader, YOU too, are a space alien because you arrived on our beautiful blue island in the sky directly from the planet Kolob.

The Bible teaches us (Genesis 6.4) that even today, God's sons travel to earth from the planet Kolob, to have sex with Mormon women. Does it really teach that. I don’t remember anything about Mormon women having sex with anyone other than their husbands. I think that the sons of god means righteous men.

With faster propulsion systems, and with the desire to do so, it would be possible for space craft from Earth to reach the planet Kolob much sooner.

The Other Mormon Planets

In his famous Facsimile 2, an Egyptian papyrus which Joseph Smith translated, the Mormon prophet reveals several other Mormon celestial objects. Amongst them are the planet Oliblish and the planet Enish - go - on - dosh. As your quote later states Enish-go-on-dosh is not a planet but our sun. Mormons believe that a man from Kolob, and his wives, are entitled to four annual (Kolobian years) space trips to visit the Temple of Fertility on the planet Kolob travel to Oliblish, providing he "maintaineth righteousness in all things". No we do not believe this. I have never been taught such a thing and I have no idea where you got such an idea.

"Fig. 4. Answers to the Hebrew word Raukeeyang, signifying expanse, or the firmament of the heavens; also a numerical figure, in Egyptian signifying one thousand; answering to the measuring of the time of Oliblish, which is equal with Kolob in its revolution and in its measuring of time.

Fig. 5 is called in Egyptian Enish - go - on - dosh; this is one of the governing planets also, and is said by the Egyptians to be the Sun, and to borrow its light from Kolob through the medium of Kae-e-vanrash, which is the grand Key, or, in other words, the governing power, which governs fifteen other fixed planets or stars, as also Floeese or the Moon, the Earth and the Sun in their annual revolutions. This planet receives its power through the medium of
Kli - flos - is - es, or  Hah - ko - kau - beam,  the stars represented by numbers 22
* and 23*, receiving light from the revolutions of Kolob."              * Numbers refer to items on the papyrus.

Mormon  translation of the Egyptian document, Facsimile B, by  Prophet Joseph Smith

Facsimile 1, Facsimile 2, Facsimile 3 and Facsimile B are stored in the Mormon church's archives and can be made available to qualified researchers. An alternate (and wrong) translation of Facsimile 2. by modern Egyptologists is here. Facsimile 1 was used by smith as source of the Holy Mormon scripture, The Book of Abraham. In it -- as far as it has been translated correctly -- we find the true reason of why we believe that who are the WE that you keep referring to. And what about the Book of Abraham makes you think that Black people are inferior? It tells us that they are blessed with wisdom. That does not sound like inferiority to me.

 The Mormon Tabernacle Choir

One cornerstone of our faith is space travel The cornerstone of the Mormon religion is the Book of Mormon NOT space travel. Although once again you use the term OUR so maybe you are just saying that the Cornerstone of YOUR faith is Space Travel. If this is the case you should definitely clarify this to the reader. . Sometimes we take solo flights, and sometimes we cruise supraluminously, en masse. Here on earth we often remind each other of this in church, by joining in song. Does you church sing If You Could Hie To Kolob also? Mormons sing it but the IF in the title is the important thing here. We (Mormons) do not believe that we can travel to Kolob. Here is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's rendition of "If You Could Hie*To Kolob".

Not all Mormons are astronauts

We believe that almost everyone from Earth once lived in outer space -- but there are rare exceptions. Three people who lived a long long time ago -- never died. They trek our planet doing good deeds to Mormons who are worthy. It's all proven in the Book of Mormon, 3-Nephi 28. If you are making reference to the Three Nephities than you are correct in saying that they are not astronauts. Of course neither are the majority of people on the earth. Only those who are given that title by NASA qualify for it. Also the Three Nephites where not Mormons. They were simply members of The Church of Jesus Christ. The “Mormon Church” The Church of Jesus Christ OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS was not even around yet. This is the new name given to the restored version of the same church.

The Liahona

The Heavenly Father gave early Mormons Wrong again the Liahona was given to Lehi, Nephi’s father, this was around 600B.C., not to the early Mormons  a device which was useful in navigation on the surface of planet earth as well as in outer space I haven’t heard anything about it being used in outer space.. It was used much like the present-day Geographical Positioning Satellite (GPS) system.

It is called the Liahona and looks like this: Early Navigation Device [GPS]Today, it is stored deep within a mountain vault in Little Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, Utah, USA HA HA HA very funny. As far as I know The Liahona has not been seen since before the birth of Christ. Whether it was taken back up into heaven or simply remains a lost artifact I don’t know. (This is also where the church stores valuable genealogical records -- of almost every person on earth) Try again we actually store our genealogical records on a computer that too the best of my knowledge resides in Salt Lake City.

Mormon holy texts reveal -- as far as they were translated correctly -- that our universe is inhabited by many alien space civilizations, each of which is governed by a resurrected Mormon male who has proven himself worthy of being a God for one or more planets. Which Mormon Holy texts say this. And why don’t I know about them?

Polytheism

Because we believe that trillions gods exist, (WE don’t know how many God’s exist, nor do we care) Mormonism is a polytheistic religion Not true we only worship ONE god and thus we are Monotheistic.. Nevertheless, we only worship one god, our Heavenly Father. But we do also revere Mother Gonhorra. Who is Mother Gonhorra and were did you get this from? I don’t know of any Mormons who revere Mother Gonhorra. Moreover, we do pray in the name of our Jesus-Jehovah twinity What is twinity? . Of course we despise Beelzebub, the devil. Other than these we really have no deities. We make little or no use of the Virgin Mary who lives with Moses near a city named Kli - tin - ur - gash, on Kolob thank you for this information. I Think it should be shared with the Mormon people b/c we didn’t know that. Don’t represent your rubbish as something that is preached by my church. Joseph, scripture reveals, has remarried one-hundred-and- one fold. He is the priest and administrator of The temple on planet Oliblish Another interesting tidbit of bull. If you gave references to even half of your statements you might sound like you had any clue what you are talking about..

The Gods

Mormon scholars are in disagreement about whether the gods are arranged in a hierarchical order, with Kolob's Jehovah at the top, or whether all gods are equal and can do as they please, in their respective spheres of influence. What Mormon scholars are trying to figure this out?

Some Mormon Thinkers maintain that Yahweh, the god of earthlings is the main god, who governs all other gods in the universe. Strict adherents to Mormon Thought point to the first commandment, which, while admitting that other gods exists, admonishes us that Jehovah is superior to all other gods.

The Doctrine of Free Agency

Liberal Mormon scholars believe that all gods are equal and can rule however they please. They cite the Mormon Doctrine of Free Agency to support their claim. After all, they argue, if Gods cannot do as they please, they would have no free agency, and thus could not be all powerful. This thesis seems to be the most accepted one at present. It's a difficult conundrum that Mormonism faces, in the absence of clear hieroglyphics on this topic. Not doctrinal so I see no need to include it in your sight. You are simply stating what you think some Mormons believe.

One question presents itself

Which god's rules should a prudent space traveler obey, if traveling from the dominion of one god to the region of influence of another god? For example, it's just possible that some gods would allow, perhaps require, the drinking of coffee or wine, as a holy sacrament. At the same time this god might prohibit polygamy, the use of secret hand-clasps, and the wearing of special underwear -- all very Mormon activities. What would a good Mormon from Planet Earth (or Kolob) do in this case? This only concerns those Few Mormons who actually work for NASA. And they are only affected if they somehow manage to infringe on the realm of some other God who may or may not exist and in my opinion travelling between one God’s creations and another God’s creations is impossible.

Monogamy

Monogamy is a much fairer proposition for beings with X-Y chromosomes. Like all mammals, humans have an equal chance of inheriting the X-girl and the Y-boy chromosome. That's why the number of males and females on Earth is roughly equal.

Monogamy gives one spouse to everyone -- few males can hoard a harem of thousands. But it's no so on Kolob. On God's home planet millions of lonely, excess males reach daily to onanistic auto-eroticism. This entire section needs to be deleted b/c it has no facts whatsoever in it and is simply your speculation.

Drinking

Mormons are not allowed to drink hot drinks and alcohol. Nor are they allowed to eat meat, except during inclement weather ("Word of Wisdom"). Little publicized Mormon Scripture reveals, as far as it has been translated correctly, that our god Yahweh at one time toyed with the idea of letting earthlings drink coffee. Where can I get my hands on this “little publicized scripture”? Yahweh made the coffee plant, after all. It has been cultivated near the Red Sea since about AD 675. And it's a fact that caffeine is one of the most benign drugs known to man. "Recent findings, that alcohol in -- moderation -- is actually good for one, are to be ignored," said LaTreena Peoria, LDS spokesperson, in 1991, in response to new scientific evidence. "If spirits were good for the spirit, God would have revealed this a long time ago.

Drinking Alcohol
"Ordinance on the Personal Sale of Liquors.

Be it ordained by the City Council of Nauvoo, that the Mayor of the city be and is hereby authorized to sell or give spirits of any quantity as he in his wisdom shall judge to be for the health and comfort, or convenience of such travelers or other persons as shall visit his house from time to time."

Passed December 12, 1843.    JOSEPH SMITH, Mayor.    WILLARD RICHARDS, Recorder.   History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 111  Off-site link here

Space Travel, continued...

So, what would the prudent space traveler do, for example, when entering the domain of an alien god? Should he or she leave behind the mores of their former existence and adopt the new values? Should one steadfastly cling to the values of the old religion, and hope that the new God would be understanding, and make an exception? Should a space alien, upon entering our solar system, learn and accept Jehovah's commandments, and reject that good old-time religion taught on the home planet? Still your own personal speculation and with absolutely no factual base. The church doesn’t even teach that space travel, outside the realm of NASA and similar programs, is possible.

Mormons inhabit the Moon, says Brigham Young, Prophet Seer and Revelator

"The inhabitants of the moon are more of a uniform size than the inhabitants of the earth, being six feet in height. They dress very much like the Quaker style and are quite general in style or fashion of dress. They live to be very old; coming generally near a thousand years." This is the description of them as given by Joseph Smith the Seer... Journal of Oliver B. Huntington, Vol 2, p 166.

After Joseph Smith, Brigham Young revealed:
"I will tell you who the real fanatics are: they are they who adopt false principles and ideas as facts, and try to establish a superstructure upon, a false foundation. They are the fanatics; and however ardent and zealous they may be, they may reason or argue on false premises till doomsday, and the result will be false. If our religion is of this character we want to know it; we would like to find a philosopher who can prove it to us. We are called ignorant; so we are: but what of it? Are not all ignorant? I rather think so. Who can tell us of the inhabitants of this little planet that shines of an evening, called the moon? When we view its face we may see what is termed "the man in the moon," and what some philosophers declare are the shadows of mountains. But these sayings are very vague, and amount to nothing; and when you inquire about the inhabitants of that sphere you find that the most learned are as ignorant in regard to them as the most ignorant of their fellows.

The Sun is Inhabited by space aliens

So it is with regard to the inhabitants of the sun. Do you think it is inhabited? I rather think it is. Do you think there is any life there? No question of it; it was not made in vain. It was made to give light to those who dwell upon it, and to other planets; and so will this earth when it is celestialized*. Every planet in its first rude, organic state receives not the glory of God upon it, but is opaque; but when celestialized, every planet that God brings into existence is a body of light, but not till then. Christ is the light of this planet." - journal of Discourses Vol. 13, p.271.

Oliver B. Huntington recorded this, Brigham Young's statement, in his diary.

Crystal Spheres

It is problems such as this which has lead Mormon scholars to recognize the only solution to this paradox: Space travel is impossible! Especially, when god-dominions are to be crossed.

Mormon intellectuals maintain that there are invisible crystal spheres surrounding stars, What Mormon Intellectuals? which act as a barrier to space travel. It's true, the barriers are invisible, because when we look at stars we can look right through the intervening crystal spheres!

In fact, our Mormon scripture, the Doctrine of Covenants, teaches us that he idea of crystal spheres transubstantiates, yeah, even onto the planet KOLOB, from whence we all came - - and to which we strive to return.

The scriptures tell us that the planet KOLOB is entirely made of glass! And the streets are made of gold.
Where do the scriptures say this? This is another lie.

But we know by Faith and Scripture that the barriers are there. Even with the unaided eye, one can see galaxies and nebulae billions of light years distant, objects that are much further away than the planet Kolob! No doubt the Voyager space probe will soon bump up against the boundary for Jehovah's realm. It is then that we may finally know the face of God, and the persona of his #1 wife, Mother Gonhorra.   [off-site discussion]

Pay lay ale! These things I say in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

  COMMENTS:
I'm pleased
when
people challenge you to post their comments and you do. I was once like this guy in many respects. He caught you in a few of your inventions. Nevertheless, some replies you might consider are the following:

--Mormons used to treat blacks as if they were inferior. Some of us Mormons still do. Any claims to the contrary is mere white washing.

--Why do you think it's impossible for spaceships to travel between domains of different Gods? Light and charged particles successfully do so. Do you think Elohim is only God of our Galaxy, Local Group, Supercluster, or what? If lots of His brothers are also Gods, what are their domains? Where will you be God when you get to that point?

--If you don't think Gonhorra or Kakistocra are names of Mothers in Heaven, what do you think her name is? Don't tell me we don't know because it's not necessary for our salvation. The name of the brother of Jared has been revealed, and that's not necessary for our salvation either. If knowing Mother in Heaven's name isn't necessary then knowing Father in Heaven's name isn't either.

Keep up the good work.
John.

Yes, I am  interested in your corrections and I have posted them,  thank you. However, simply gainsaying, ("Not true again") won't do it. Please give 'positive reasons';  don't just say it ain't so.

Also, arguments from ignorance won't work. Simply saying you are ignorant about something won't be accepted as a reason for anything. The ways that you have said that you are ignorant includes phrases like "As far as I know...", "I could be wrong but I believe...", "to the best of my knowledge...", and "we don’t know how many God’s exist, nor do we care..."

That having been said,  -- I will post your correctly translated  material.

Best Regards,
   Webmaster

Footnote:

* Kakistocra, the star, was named after one of Elohim's favorite wives who died in childbirth in 1877, on Kolob What are you talking about. This woman is a figment of your imagination and you are for some reason representing her existence as doctrine of the church. If she did exist and was the wife of God then she couldn’t die in childbirth because she would be an immortal just like God. . This is Stardate 6.66 by Kolobian reckoning. Kolobians set Stardate 1 as the time when Elohim made his first Planet, the earth. Once again you are making stuff up. One thousand earth years equals exactly one year on Kolob, as is revealed by our Mormon scriptures. I could be wrong but I believe that 1000 years is actually one day not 1 year, check the reference on this one and follow what it says.

After Kakistocra's listing by its scientific number and RA/DEC coordinates in the BYU discovery paper, The Mormon astronomers at BYU might have named it according to its number, Moody 95. However, in honor of the 100th anniversary of Mother Kakistocra's passing this star was named in her eternal memory. Don’t just make up blatant lies. During her reign, she had given birth birth to 62,055 healthy, perfect children including over 3500 twins, 1897 triplets, 987 quadruplets through septuplets, In addition the precious vessel, our holy Mother Kakistocra produced higher orders of baby-tuples including three sets of 24-tuple siblings. And where did you get these numbers? On Kolob, the gestation period is only about 90 days. Sure it is.  (Death by stoning: The existence of her child was all the evidence the judge needed).  Births on Kolob yield almost all females. This is mandatory so that polygamy can be practiced by all males. Mandatory huh. Does that mean that they aren’t allowed to have mostly men? How can something that is uncontrollable be mandatory?

After her death, Mother Kakistocra's spirit traveled to the spirit world of the LDS High Order Universe (HOU, known as Hou-ku-kau-beam).  Not true again. Since her reincarnation Mormons don’t even believe in reincarnation or pre-existence, which would be the same, she lives as a peasant girl on the planet Nemesisi in HOU, in order to become a precious goddess vessel yet again by proving her worthiness to Elo-hou.  Elohu is Elohim's god; Anan-Heloum is Elo-hou's god... I doubt this.
